Become a Volunteer

While AFCI loves to host volunteers, our remote location makes it challenging. We currently do not offer transportation between Amman and Zaatari Village, therefore, volunteers are requested to organise their own transportation (car or public bus). Transportation can be provided from Irbid or Mafraq. Due to the time it takes to familiarise yourself with our work, we only accept volunteers who can commit to at least two days per week for a minimum duration of three months. Unfortunately, we are currently not able to offer compensation due to limited funding.

If you would like to run your own project/workshop at the centre for a shorter duration or you would like to support us remotely with administrative tasks, we can discuss this on a case-by-case basis.
